The Series 7 Chair debuted in 1955 at the H55 exhibition in Sweden. Ergonomically suited to the human body, the back has comfortable "give’’ and it’s 'waterfall' seat edge was designed not to press into your legs. Arne Jacobsen obvious fascination with a the inherent properties of materials, shaped the core of the Danish design ‘identity’, very much evident in this chair where he accommodated three different bends in one piece of plywood.
Original manufacturers label on the base of the chairs, the chair bases we believe have been recently re-conditioned.
