This is an elegantly handsome, substantial and beautifully made dining table. It’s very unusual to find a mid century table made entirely of solid wood (in this case Afrormosia).

Afrormosia is a superior alternative to Teak. It is less ‘oily’ in appearance and does not bleach over time but darkens with age. it is also stronger and harder than most Teaks.

There is a nice detail to the sides of the table top; thumb indentations at each end used for pulling the sections out.

Date of manufacture: 1970’s
Material: Afrormosia
Size: extended width 211cm x unextended width 151cm x depth 90cm x height 75cm
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Very minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.
