G Plan was founded in 1898 by Ebenezer Gomme. The early G plan Brandon range from 1953 carried the gold ‘E Gomme’ brand stamp rather than the ‘G Plan’ label.

The Brandon range pre-dated G Plan’s more Danish influenced designs, and had its own very English post war ‘utility’ style. The range included sideboards, wardrobes and dressing tables.

This is a lovely example of a Brandon chest of drawers. Finished in light solid oak and oak veneer. With ‘set back’ top drawers.

Stamped ‘G Plan / E gomme’ on the bottom of the top drawers.
